Product Manager

Responsibilities:

● Manage the product roadmap for your squad(s), collaborating with design, engineering, data science, and key stakeholders to ensure all deliverables are driving towards the main goal, and always shifting the needle on success KPIs

● Write users stories, taking high-level feature proposals and customer problems and break them into small iterations that engineering can work on

● Prioritise important features systematically and properly by considering the business impact, ROI , and other implications

● Balance new features, improvements, and bug fixes to ensure a high velocity and a stable product

● Ensure alignment with the product strategy, through enhancements to the existing product, new features, and thinking scalable for the future

● Conduct planning, refinement, and stand-ups with the team; provide guidance and feedback to engineers and designers; ensure everyone is aligned

● Manage the uncertainty in an efficient way, adjusting plans to new working conditions

● Own user acceptance criteria to ensure the product meets exceptional standard and is always solving the problem at hand

● Deliver the best product experience for our customers

● Communicate and evangelise your product vision internally and among the wider community

● Become an expert in the MachineMax solutions and customer pain-points

● Know your market inside out, including market trends and industry competitors

● Maintain current knowledge of product data, operational, customer experience, and usage

Requirements:

● 4-5 years experience as a Product Manager

● You love solving problems and finding the best way to do so

● You are comfortable working with data scientists and back-end engineers

● Where necessary you entrust designers with finding the right solution based on their research

● You’ve taken ownership of the product discovery and delivery process before and worked as a self-directed member of the development team

You are:

● A self-starter with excellent influencing skills

● Proactive, quick thinking and strike to pioneer new techniques and approaches

● Curious, ambitious and a team player

● Analytical, organised, consistent and curious (problem solver)

● Comfortable working in a changing environment with some immature processes

● Passionate about technology and its ability to transform the industry

● Happy to travel to site of product exploration and customer engagements
