The role:

We are looking for an eager and ambitious Product Manager to join us in a fast growing team. You’ll be responsible for the product thinking behind our data science capabilities. Not only does this include the machine learning required to predict activity states but also looking at how we can use ML for predictive usage models, and to build out insights. As we scale there will be greater considerations around how we process and store data, which will be a key consideration for the person in this role too. This is heavily linked to our platform, so you’ll work very closely with product, UX and engineering in those areas.

With your entrepreneurial spirit and pragmatic approach, you’ll quickly develop a deep understanding of the market landscape, uncover and size areas of opportunity, develop our product strategy, and drive the product from concept to reality. The key will be ensuring adoption and frequent use of the data available to the customers, minimising churn. You’ll be fully autonomous and pushed to make critical business decisions with your team as well as managing the day to day; writing user stories and prioritising the backlog, and owning the value and business viability for your area of the productm within the team.


As a Product Manager, you will:

• Work with the Head of Product to establish the vision, strategy, and direction for the product

• Become an expert in the space; understand the market and technology drivers; monitor industry trends

• Define goals and success with clearly measurable objectives and key results

• Deliver the best product experience for our customers

• Manage the product roadmap for your squad, collaborating with engineers, data science, and key stakeholders to

ensure all deliverables are driving towards the main goal, and always shifting the needle on success KPIs

• Ensure alignment with the product strategy, through enhancements to existing product, new features, and thinking

scalable for the future

• Conduct planning, refinement, and stand-ups with the team

• Write user stories and prioritise the backlog for the team

• Own user acceptance criteria to ensure the product meets exceptional standard and is always solving the problem at


• Become an expert in our hardware solutions which are so intrinsically linked to much of our current machine learning


• You will have worked with data engineers in the past and have a good understanding of systems and the tech stack

required to enable effective, safe, and reliable processing of data

• Know your market inside out, including market trends and industry competitors

• Maintain current knowledge of product data, operational, customer experience, and usage

Candidate profile:

• 4-5 years experience as a Product Manager

• You love solving problem and finding the best way to do so

• You are comfortable working with data scientists and back end engineers

• Where necessary you entrust designers with finding the right solution based on their research

• You’ve taken ownership of the product discovery and delivery process before and worked as a self directed member of

the development team

• You are willing to be flexible, operational and hands on – have a “start up” mindset

• You are proactive, quick thinking and strike to pioneer new techniques and approaches

• You are comfortable working in a changing environment with some immature processes

• You are curious, ambitious and a team player

• You have a desire to grow in the role by learning on the job

Remote working:

We are flexible on working location in the UK but would like the person filling this role to be available to come to the office in London Bridge once a week, and also be open to visiting sites around the UK as required by business needs.
